2015 Winter Retreat - Saturday February 7, 2015

Time to come in from the cold and join us for our first annual Winter Retreat at the Potomac Point Winery. 
Designer and author Anastasia Blaes will walk us thru an exclusive magic modular knitted design in the morning and in the afternoon we have beading specialist Tish Friend from "Off the Beading Path" showing us how to create a beautiful beaded tubular bracelet.  Don't wait until the last minute, only 30 seats are available. Additional information about facility are shown below

At this event you will receive 
 - 2 three hour workshops
 - Light breakfast
 - Buffet lunch
 - Coffee/tea available all day​
 - All knitting yarns and beading supplies​ for both workshops
 - A goodie bag filled with yarn & notions

 All you need to bring is your knitter's toolbox and a smile

Schedule for Saturday February 7th​

8:30                Begin arriving

8:45 - 9:45     Light Breakfast including coffee/tea

9:00 - 12:00   Knitting Workshop with Anastasia

12:00 -1:30    Lunch Break  (Lunch will be served at 12:30)

Opportunity to ask Anastasia questions, book signing, walk around, have a wine tasting or visit the gift shop

1:30-4:30       Beading Workshop with Tish from Off the Beading Path

4:30-5:00       Pack-up and head home

** Additional Information

  • Deposit is fully refundable until January 10, 2015.  Cancellations after 1/10 will be charged a $50 supply fee 
  • Balance of retreat fee is due by January 15, 2015
  • Final date to register is January 10, 2015
  • The workshops will take place in the Wine Aging Room.  Lighting and heating will be enhanced, however it may still be a bit chilly first thing in the morning so dress warmly and in layers.
  • You are welcome to bring additional battery-operated lighting to enhance your retreat experience especially for the beading  workshop 
  • There is a small elevator for those that need assistance heading downstairs to the retreat
  • The gift shop will be open during the retreat.  
  • If you would like a wine tasting during the lunch break, please let the hostess know
